Transition Expo 2019 - Evening Forum

Approximate reading time: 4 minutes

The Transition Expo is created for students with disabilities and their families/whanau/caregivers. Its purpose is to raise awareness of what options students have available locally for life after school in an interactive and fun way.

The Evening Forum was created in appreciation that many families/whanau/caregivers work during the day and a separate evening forum would give them the opportunity to not miss out on the chance to gain more awareness of the local options.
The evening forum consists of the following:
· Guest speakers, including those that have been through the transition from school
· How to engage with transition services
· How to start planning early
· And opportunity to meet service providers and ask questions
